What Are the Packages and Prices of VN Driving School Lessons?
We have several packages available for students learning to drive.
Also of the prices below include taxes, and one lesson is for 60 minutes. The lessons also include free pick-up and drop-off at home, school, or work. Lessons are in a new dual-control Toyota Corolla training vehicle. The focus is always safe, defensive driving.
Prices and Package for Class 5 and 7:
* Each lesson is 120/90 minute duration and contains a minimum of 110/80 minutes of practice time.
* Fee for each 120/90 minute lesson is $130/$100 payable at the start of each lesson.
* For pick up/drop off more than 10 kms, additional fee applies.
* With the approval of the instructor, students may use the school vehicle for the road test for an extra fee of $175 paid in advance. This fee includes approximately 60 minute warm up.
* We offer one-on-one training: however one other person may be in the vehicle for observation.
Complete Course
*Complete course #1: $2,000 includes 14 (1.5 hour) lessons or 11 (2 hour) lessons and the road test.
*Complete course #2: $2,500 includes 20 (1.5 hour) or 15 (2 hour) lessons and the road test.
* Both complete courses offer the following benefits.
*If the first road test fails, student will get two (2 hour ) lessons and the road test free of charge.
*If the 2nd road test fails, the student will get one (2 hour) lesson and the road test free of charge.
*Thereafter, the student will one (2 hour) lesson and the road test free of charge if the third and subsequent road test fails.
*Admission to the complete course is subject to an hour driving assessment. The assessment fee is $60. If the student is accepted, the fee is included in the course fee.
*All course fee is include GST. VN Driving School will book the road test.
*Full payment is required prior to the start of the first lesson
* Student is responsible for road test fee and license fee which are payable to ICBC.
Prices for the lessons for Class 4 Restricted and Unrestricted licenses:
Class 4 Restricted Package = $300 which includes two hours of in-car training and pre-trip inspection AND two hours for the Road Test using the school's training vehicle.
Class 4 Unrestricted Package = same price as above Plus cost of a cargo van rental for a day (approximately $100).

Lesson Changes and Cancellations
If you are unable to attend or wish to change a scheduled driving lesson, the school must be notified at least 2 business days in advance. If notification to cancel a lesson is not received 2 days in advance, we may not be able to make the change. A Late Cancellation Fee of $50 will be charged to re-schedule the lesson or you could choose to forfeit the lesson.
Also, notice of three (3) business days is required to change or cancel a scheduled driving test. There will be a late cancellation fee of $25 charged if there is less than three business days’ notice.
